Want to present your work in intellectual/developmental disabilities and mental health (IDD-MH) to a nationwide audience? Submit your work for consideration for the 2024 START National Training Institute (SNTI) on May 6-8 in Philadelphia, PA. The National Center for START ServicesTM is now accepting presentation proposals for SNTI. New this year, proposals are open to the entire START network and all our community partners!
This year's theme is "Building Resilience Through Systemic Collaboration." Proposals that clearly describe innovative and creative work, and those that integrate the voices and perspectives of people with lived experience of IDD-MH will receive the highest priority in the selection process.
There are three types of proposals:
- START Network Poster Session: This does not include START Program research posters. START Programs will receive separate, future guidance on their poster sessions.
- 60-minute content sessions: Includes a PowerPoint presentation, a structured agenda, and several opportunities for audience interaction, reflection, and discussion.
- 60-minute lunch and learn discussion sessions: No PowerPoint presentation, a roundtable, facilitated discussion format that prioritizes the interests of participants. Supplemental materials or resources may be offered.
All proposals are due by November 15, 2023. Selected presenters will be notified by December 11, 2023.
