Anne LaForce
Professional Background
Anne LaForce has a Master's Degree in clinical psychology and is a Licensed Psychological Associate in North Carolina. She holds an EMDR Certification from the EMDR Institute. Anne has over 25 years experience working with adults, adolescents and children with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health conditions. As a Senior Project Manager with the National Center for START Services Anne provides consultation and training to START teams across the country, primarily working with teams in California and New York. Anne is also the Director of Therapeutic Coaching and provides support to new and existing START teams to maintain START model fidelity in the practice of Therapeutic Coaching. She facilitates monthly practice groups for Clinical Directors and Therapeutic Coaching Team Leaders. Anne has experience in practicing and training other clinicians in crisis prevention and intervention, implementation of positive psychology approaches, assessment of biopsychosocial factors and trauma informed care practices. Anne's top VIA Character Strengths include: Love, Fairness, and Leadership. She enjoys reading, gardening, and anything related to The Lord of the Rings.
